Thing 1 or Thing 2
This is going to be a cheap excuse for a blog. Luckily most bloggers are cheap, due to the fact they are writers and NEED to be. So, here it goes.
Yesterday I made mention to the fact that I may be changing my blog name. As it stands, I have narrowed it down to two based on the responses that I was given yesterday by fellow bloggers and those outside the realm. I have created two designs that represent the title and will be used as my header. My photoshop skills are like my math skills; nonexistent. So this was made with paint, word, and a site I found online. Don’t judge. Hell, who am I kidding, I’d judge.
Here are the two options for a new blog name (with design):
Which one rubs you the right way? Why?

My two cents- you’ve spent what, a year- building your identity under one blog title? If your goal is truly to be famous, devote some effort into promoting your already existing and branded with your readers blog on the social platforms you mention in your last post. Rebranding in general is very difficult, and in an online space, can be confusing to your readers.
True, but if I were to rebrand, I believe now would be the time to do it. I’m unsure of the confusion it would cause my readers, but I am doubting that it would be too difficult. Much to consider…Noodle dance time?
Number one 🙂
Ha. Okay. I’ll keep your opinion in mind.
& I think you did a great job with the graphic work! ^5
Thanks. I do what I do when I do what I do…And then hope for the best.
I like number 2, mostly because of…well…you know. #2.
That seems to be a SOLID way of making decisions. It could be a SLIPPERY slope otherwise.
I’m going to stand out here and say…number 3
You like the original name? Interesting…interesting.
Its catchy
I don’t think you need to change but if you do, I like #1.
Yes, I suppose I do not. I just see many blogs with similar names. I ran across a blog called Titillating Kitty Thoughts. I think, especially with #1, that the name stands out. It’s something that can be better built around. Who knows though, maybe I’m changing for the sake of change.
I like your current name, however number one does put a smile on my face. It’s definitely not a blog title that I would forget.
Yeah, that’s the issue that I am having trouble with. People say my current name is not a problem, but I feel as if the originality of it is in question. Decisions…Decisions. lol
If you feel you can benefit and draw a greater audience from changing your name then I say go for it. It’s your blog and something that, at the end of the day, must reflect you. People change all the time so why shouldn’t their blogs as well? If I was browsing blogs and came across #1 I would be drawn to read it purely because of the name…but that’s just me….
Yes…I’m very indecisive about it. Getting mixed reviews. At least I know I would attract one person. Lol
Thanks for the input.
I like the facetious one – I have to admit, I couldn’t even read the title in the second logo 🙂 I understand you may want to rebrand but have to say I enjoy and your remember your current blog name quite easily!
